It
is a challenge
for a freelance artist to do portrait.
Commissioned work in this field is
not very difficult for me when I know the
person well.
Short Relationships as with Prof. Starker, or persons
I only have many Photos of, strongly depend on my intuition.
Sometimes it feels like shamanistic evocation.
But, if I work „free“ like the Female Torso, Zeal or the Shaman, the
features of good friends or my wife appear not by desighn , nevertheless welcome.
These men sculptures are generally ceramics for outdoor use. Bronze casts
possible. Examples are to be seen in the Botanical Garden
in Bayreuth,
Germany, or in my studio in Hollfeld Eiergasse 13 Axel
